WTF
So when the plane hits the ground and the announcement comes saying "Welcome! The local time is .. Please wait until the fasten seat belt sign turns off" there will always be a few of those people sitting toward the middle that jump out of their seats into the aisle and start grabbing their bags from the overhead compartment and charging to the door, only to be cut off two rows up by someone else getting there shit and charging for the door too. Meanwhile everyone else is un buckling their seat belts and have just come to realise that they are some how stuck in their seats now because there is already a line forming.
So my question to these people is...why do you think most airlines board the plane in sections back to front? Any guesses? Well, it is more efficient. If 10 people line up and 9 are in rows 1-8 and one is in row 25, naturally the guy sitting in row 25 is going to be the last in line, because that is just how the universe works, and that people 1-9 will all have luggage to put up and probably need special assistance in their seats. So don't you think it makes sense to say "Hey person 10, why don't you board first so we don't hold up the line". Well sure, we know that makes sense so this is why we board back to front.
So who in the right mind thinks that de-boarding would be any different? Would it make sense for everyone who was lucky enough to score an aisle seat to stand up and be let up the aisle first while middle and window seats wait for you all to get off? Or does it make more sense to do the opposite of you did just hours before?
I mean just because you know you can walk on the left? Would you? Would you walk against traffic?
I think if I wasn't always taking this overnight flight and had more energy... I would beat the crap out of you for being so dumb.
Ok, that's a little harsh, but I would want to beat you because I know it would make me feel better about YOUR situation.
