I am Thankful

I am thankful for my wonderful, quirky, odd, different and oh so generous family. Every family is dysfunctional in there own way and I am thankful today that I have the dysfunctional family that I do.

Mom- I am thankful for all that you do for our whole family and how strong you can be when we need you the most.

Dad- I am thankful for you and for the unconditional love that you give to each child regardless or circumstance.

Anika- I am thankful for your honesty and friendship.

Hugh- I am thankful to have you in my life and for loving my wonderful sister.

Milo- I am thankful for the joy you can bring to me with just a look or a smile. Thank you for showing me a type of love that is stronger then anything I know.

Otto- I am thankful to you for showing me how to love little boys. :)

Clio- I am thankful to you for giving me cuddles even when you don't want to.

Briana- I am thankful to you for inspiring me to be a better person and teaching me never to give up.

Cassie- I am thankful to you for you love and compassion.

Erika- I am thankful to you for still liking me as a big sister even though I screwed up a lot.

Andrew- I am thankful to you for loving me even though I can be a pain in the ass sometimes.

Bowser- Thank you for letting me take care of you and giving me the love and support that you do.

Nothing

I guess I am ready for Christmas. I have not really been in the Christmas spirit this year and I am not sure why. I have tried listening to Christmas music, drove up and down Christmas street and even a little Christmas shopping... and nothing. I just don't feel it. I am not going to force it.. but I am wondering where and why I am lacking.

I realized that school is starting in two weeks and that I am not ready for it to start again. I feel like I have a lot to do in too little time.

Side Note

On another note. I really want to go to Santorini. It looks so beautiful. I know that it would be expensive, but I really want to make it happen.

In other travel news for those who care... JetBlue just anounced a new non-stop flight bewtween Flordia and San Jose, Costa Rica. I am commin back COSTA!!!

iPod

I just sat down to update the music on my iPod. I have come to the realization that I have not been using it as much as i should. So I am here updating the music so I will be ready to take her with me on Friday. For those who don't know, I am leaving to Maine on Friday with my mother to attend Milo's Birthday Bash.

~Fall Break~

It is fall break from school, but I still have a crap load of homework. I got some done today so that Andrew and I can watch the game and debate tonight. This should be exciting and interesting.

Idea

So I had an idea. What if I got two bands, one to go on each side of my ring? Not a bad idea right? I thought it would look nice. If I had to I could fuse them together.

Bowser

So little buddy got a new bed. I saw it at costco and had to have it! There is nothing that says "Bowser" more than Camo. He looks so good on his new bed. The second we brought it into the house he was laying on it and showing off! He needed a little extra love that day. He has been such a good boy but you can tell he is lonely. He is having me hold him all the time now no matter what time of day and he is following me around the house. Dad and yes, even Mom are being really good to him.

So my puppy Ginger had to be put to sleep this weekend. She was such a good dog for 13 years. I still remember the day my sister Anika brought her home. My favorite thing about G was watching her in the snow. She loved to leap through the snow like a reindeer.

It is just weird to me that when we buy a pet, we never think of it dying, but it is inevitable. They will die before us. It amazes me how much we can love one single dog. It is a love that can not be explained. This dog greats you in the morning happy to be awake and alive, puts you to bed at night and protects the house while we sleep, and sits with us when we are sad. Dogs are truly the best companions, however I am not sure I want to continue to love and raise these dogs knowing that I will have to say goodbye in such a short time. It sucks. Anyway, I just wanted to write about my puppy dog and let the world know what a good dog she really was, even when she was purposely ignoring me when it was time to come in from outside. :)

My Trip

So I just got back from my trip. I was in Maine visiting the chickens again. They keep growing too fast. Milo just lost her two front teeth and is already going into the second grade. Otto is Turing 5 this year and Clio is running around like she owns the place. Clio might just be the cutest baby in the world.

After spending a couple days in Maine, Mom and I had to take a bus to DC because there were no flights for days. The bus wasn't to bad because it left from Penn Station. I got to spend a couple days going to museums and walking around with Mom and Briana.

Christina came down from Baltimore to pick me up and we spend some time in DC riding bikes around the river and monuments.It was really nice to get away but now it is back to real life.School started again. I just want to be done. Not to much longer then you can call me nurse Dina. Just kidding.

~Summer coming to an End~

~So I haven't blogged for a while but I have been busy. I was house sitting Amy's house(again) and finishing up summer semester. I got my grades back and I got an A in psychology from the crazy professor that talked to his dead brother and I got and embarrassing B+ in Math. It is only an embarrassing B+ because the Math class was so easy, so that means I must have made some mistakes on the final. At least they are over.

~We also had Andrew's brother Heaths wedding. There was a bbq the night before at a friends house then the next morning we went to the temple followed by early pictures at the reception(Tuscany). It was a long day but it was a nice little reception. Here are some pictures from the wedding day!

~I am off to Maine to see the chickens and then to DC and Baltimore. I am excited to get out of SLC but not looking forward to the flying. I really don't like flying.

~Current Events~

So I guess I have not updated for a bit. I have been busy with school and work. Didn't miss much. Andrew and Dad had a joint birthday party, Amy and Tye came over. Briana was in town for a couple days at the same time. It was fun to have her here. I miss her wayyyyy to much. We pretty much spent most of the time taking really cool pictures of our selves. Bowser liked Briana and surprisingly Briana liked Bowser. Well at least she pretended. Bowser really wanted Briana to hold him... So she did.

Part of Andrews birthday present was tickets to the police concert. I wish I had actual pictures.. but Andrew was too scared to take the camera into usana. So I was forced to take these really cool pictures of myself while Andrew was on the phone.
